What Organizing Your Paleo Kitchen Means?

Paleo kitchen organizing is clearing out all the food that isn’t paleo.

One of the first things that you will want to do.

Once you have really committed to the paleo lifestyle is to clean out and organize your kitchen.

Committing to new eating habits can be tough.

And you will want to make sure that your pantry isn’t working against you.

Clear out foods you will no longer be eating.

You don’t want them to be there waiting for you when a late night craving hits.

Organize your daily work space, and make sure less used appliances have a home in the cupboard.

Where they are easy to find but are not in your way when they aren’t being used.

Once you have gotten everything into its proper place.

Your kitchen can be your greatest ally in your new commitment to healthy living.

The first step in making sure that your paleo kitchen is on point is to get rid of all of the junk food.

Any processed foods, refined sugar and oils, canned foods, starches, candy, dairy, and alcohol needs to go.

So pull out all the tortillas, noodles, cheese, popcorn, milk duds.

And anything else of the sort and find it a new home.

It doesn’t have to be thrown out, but it can’t be a part of your paleo kitchen.

Rather than letting unopened non perishables go to waste, consider donating them to your local food pantry.

Now that you’ve removed the temptations from your kitchen, it’s time to restock.

Fill your fridge with lean meats, fruits, and vegetables.

Find the best in-season fresh fruits and veggies you can get your hands on.

And buy the rest frozen to save for later or use for cooking.

Remember to stay away from canned fruits.

As they can contain added sugar that you are trying to avoid.

For your pantry, explore a variety of nuts and seeds that you may not have tried before.

Do some research on Paleo sauces and seasonings.

And remember to keep some olive oil on hand.

To replace the harmful vegetable oils you won’t be cooking with anymore.

Having a well-stocked arsenal is only part of a successful paleo kitchen.

Your next step is to organize the tools and work spaces that you will need.

To prepare your food as quickly and easily as possible.

Put all of your favorite recipes into one book.

And keep it on the counter with all of the appliance that you will use most often.

You’ll want to make sure that your knives and cutting board are in a clean, dry area where they are easy to reach.

You also want to make sure you have a clear space on your counter where you can easily start prepping your meals.

You will be using your counter space a lot, so be sure to keep it cleared off and ready.

It can be tempting to keep all of your appliances on top of the counter.

But you will regret that decision the minute that you run out of room.

Your blender and chopper may be your buddies.

But they need a home under the counter and out of the way.

The easier it is to prepare your meals and keep the ball rolling.

The smoother the transition to the paleo diet will be.
